Copperas Cove Police have reported over 33 car break-ins within the first two weeks of June.
Over $6,000.00 dollars in property has been reported stolen in the month of June alone.
Cove Police have not arrested anyone in connection but say the most recent burglaries happen when the suspects walk up to vehicles checking if they are locked.
When the car opens, they strike.
Officers strongly encourage citizens to double check the locks and not leave any valuables inside.
