SALADO, TX - A 31-year-old Austin woman has been charged with a drunk driving offense in connection with an April 29, 2017 traffic crash that injured two people.
Bell County Jail records indicate Corie Rae Bogan was charged with Intoxication Assault, booked into the jail and bonded out.
The Department of Public Safety reports the crash occurred on the northbound I-35 service road at the intersection of Salado Plaza Drive at the Salado city limits.
Bogan was the driver of a vehicle that was northbound on the service road when troopers say she failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection.
Bogan's vehicle struck another in the side as the second vehicle was passing through the intersection of Salado Plaza Drive.
As part of their investigation, DPS troopers determined that Bogan had a blood alcohol level of 0.18 at the time.
They obtained a warrant for her arrest and she turned herself in on Thursday.
